Edmonton Chamber of Commerce
The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is the official voice of business in the Edmonton area. This year the Edmonton Chamber celebrates 117 years working with government and in our community to create the best environment for business.
The Chamber is unique in that it brings all types of businesses together — from the smallest to largest, in every sector and corner of Edmonton.
Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce
The Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce is where local businesses Meet, Learn, and Speak. The Chamber's activities include:
- Facilitating networks and building relationships among Chamber members that lead to new business opportunities and increased sales
- Offering education and learning opportunities about topics that are timely and relevant to business owners and key staff
- Speaking as an authority on business issues to advocate for change in a positive but forthright manner
Alberta Entrepreneurs Association
The Alberta Entrepreneurs Association supports and promotes entrepreneurs across Alberta. Once a month members meet for networking, great food, and sharing with fellow entrepreneurs. These meetings include speakers with topics relevant to small businesses and an opportunity to promote your business.
Society for Technical Communication
The Society for Technical Communication is an individual membership organization dedicated to advancing the arts and sciences of technical communication. It is the largest organization of its type in the world. Its 18,000 members include technical writers and editors, content developers, documentation specialists, technical illustrators, instructional designers, academics, information architects, usability and human factors professionals, visual designers, Web designers and developers, and translators — anyone whose work makes technical information available to those who need it.
